REAL ESTATE & BUSINESS NEWS
- Habitat, Developer Clear Last Big Hurdle in Proposed Workforce Housing Project Behind Odell
- “The Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved the project development plan for Tapestry — a seven-building condominium community that seeks to meet the housing needs of Fort Collins’ “missing middle,” with 30 affordable, deed-restricted units reserved for Habitat for Humanity. The project is a three-pronged private, nonprofit and philanthropic effort, with the Odell family donating the 12-acre site behind its brewery, Hartford Homes — the project’s building and developer — donating the infrastructure and site-development fees for the project and Habitat for Humanity handling the interior finishes of its 30 units, according to project plans presented Thursday.” (Coloradoan)

- Investor Scoops Up Bolder Innovation Campus for Nearly $50M
- “…Blue Vista Capital Management bought the recently built, two-building Bolder Innovation Campus in Louisville for $49.5 million…’Developed in 2023, the portfolio represents an opportunity to own modern industrial space with long-term in-place tenants, located in an easily accessible legacy industrial corridor of the greater Boulder’ metropolitan area, Blue Vista said in a LinkedIn post announcing the purchase.” (BizWest)
- Johnstown Town Council Approves Zoning of Embattled Subdivision
- “The development company returned to the town with a substantially different plan, again for R-2 zoning, but with limits on the numbers and types of residential units it could build. No multifamily apartments were allowed, all townhomes would be limited to two stories, and the majority of the homes would be single-story homes. The project would be limited to five units per acre or a maximum count of 200 units, with 30% open space…While the council had rejected the project 4-3 in May, this new proposal drew unanimous approval, with two Town Council members (Dianne Morris and Andrew Paranto) absent, on a 5-0 vote.” (BizWest)
- Denver City Council Approves Rezoning for Redevelopment Around Ball Arena
- “Monday night, they unanimously approved a proposal to rezone the area, making it easier for the development to move ahead. They also approved an agreement allowing Kroenke Sports and Entertainment to redevelop the area. KSE, which owns Ball Arena as well as the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, is behind the 64-acre redevelopment project. They say it would create a new neighborhood with housing, bike lanes, open space and amenities like artist spaces and childcare facilities.” (9News)
